NERO D'AVOLA, SICILIA, IGT, 2004
  Cantine Fina s.r.l

“Plums and cherries and a touch of anise, discreet clay-like minerality on a firm acidic structure.”
Robin Garr’s 30 Second Wine Advisor – May 22, 2006

Welcome to our second Sicilian producer. This is our first Nero d'Avola to be added to our portfolio.

Also known as Calabrese (because of the grape's apparent origins on nearby mainland Calabria), Nero d'Avola is probably Sicily's most popular red variety. Packed with big, rich, juicy, aromas and flavors of blackberries and dark cherries, this is truly a red-lover's red!
