In
the heart of Piemont lies this well appointed 6-acre winery, surrounded
by vineyards made up of some of the best growing areas in
Piedmont. La Mondianese is located in the province of Asti in the
hilly area of Montemagno, loosely translated as (“big
hill”) and Castagnole Monferrato. Tasting notes: This rare grape, thought to have come from Burgundy in the 18th century, makes a medium ruby colored wine with a hint of cherries in the nose, red berry fruit in the mouth, and a touch of sweet green herbs. Soft and spicy notes on the finish complete the experience. |
